ISOPROTEX / METALLIC INSULATED CASES FOR BAND HEATERS

   Applicable both to Keraplast and Mikaplast heaters the Isoprotex product is the best compromise between a good thermal insulation and a resistant construction. It is compatible withseveral Masterwatt standard electrical connections and it is designable in different solutions based on customer specifications.The Isoprotex is manufactured separately from the heater and it is mounted on it just before the dispatching, this makes possible to manufacture separately the heater and the insulationsystem which is evidently better in case of maintenance.

   TECHNICAL DATA
   1. INTERNAL INSULATION made of fibreglass, it is applied in direct contact to the heater band external metallic sheath improving the heating efficiency and allowing a high energy saving.
   2. INSULATION COVER made of galvanically treated steel resistant to high temperatures. It protects the internal insulation from external shocks
   3. ANTI-BURN GRID made of galvanically treated steel, it represents the external metallic system cover. It protects the plastic moulding machine operators from the high temperatureradiated by the heaters. It both maintains the surroundings of the cylinder at more comfortable temperature values and protects the operators from possible burns resulting from anaccidental contact with the electrical heating system.
