Holmes Enclosed Sample Splitters

Holmes Enclosed Sample Splitters are optimal for splitting fine, dusty powders, or where moisture retention is important such as coal and coke applications. Holmes splitters have 60° chute slopes, a feed hopper-guide, and enclosures to meet ASTM D2013 and D346.

* Small Enclosed (Fixed Width) Sample Splitters with 3/8” Chute Width have a 0.24ft³ (6.8L) hopper capacity and 24 chutes. This model has no hopper guide and sample is poured directly onto chutes. Dimensions are 11x15x22in (279x381x559mm) and contact parts are composed of stainless steel.

* Small Enclosed Sample Splitters with 1/2” Chute Width have a 0.36ft³ (10.2L) hopper capacity and 24 chutes. Built-in hopper guide distributes samples evenly across chutes through an open vertical slot. Dimensions are 15x15x22in (381x381x559mm) and contact parts are composed of stainless steel.

* Small Enclosed Splitters with 3/4” Chute Width have a 0.48ft³ (19.1mm) hopper capacity and 24 chutes. A hopper guide distributes material evenly across chutes through an open vertical slot. Dimensions are 21x15x22in (533x381x559mm) and contact parts are composed of stainless steel.

* Large Enclosed Splitters with 1/2” Chute Width have a 1.4ft³ (39.6mm) hopper capacity and 28 chutes. Dimensions are 17x31x34in (432x787x863.6mm). Contact surface of “X” suffix models are stainless steel, standard model has galvanized steel surfaces.

* Large Enclosed Splitters with 3/4” Chute Width have a 1.4ft³ (39.6mm) hopper capacity and 18 chutes. Dimensions are 17x31x34in (432x787x863.6mm). Standard model has galvanized steel contact surfaces, “X” model has stainless steel surfaces.

* Large Enclosed Splitters with 1” Chute Width have a 1.4ft³ (39.6mm) hopper capacity and 14 chutes. Dimensions are 17x31x34in (432x787x863.6mm). Galvanized contact surfaces. “X” model features stainless steel contact surfaces.
