The closed loop water cooling system .
Since there were large amounts of suspended solids in the water which caused maintenance and energy loss problems, it was decided to install a side flow filtration system.
They selected AZUD Disc Filter self-cleaning water filters, which remove both sandy and particles because of the grooved disc filter media. The unit has a 4” flanged connection, three double units, 25µ degree of filtration, that cleans aside flow of 240 US gpm
The water system is now much cleaner.This is shown by suspended solids analysis, and by the frequency of back washes:every 40 minutes or base on Quality of Water and Condition at Area Polution.
