Introduction:
Electromagnetic flow meters are new type flow measurement instruments which are developed quickly along with rapid evolution of electronic technology in 1950s to 1960s.Based on the measuring principle of electromagnetic induction law of Faraday, electromagnetic flow meters are used to measure the volumetric flow of conductive liquids and slurries in closed pipes. They are widely used now in different industries such as water/wastewater, chemical industry, metallurgy, paper-making, pharmaceutics, food etc.
Large bore instruments are mostly used for water supply and sewerage works.
Medium and small bore instruments are usually used for difficult fluid measurement applications or high demand applications such as solid and liquid two-phase flow.
Small bore instruments are commonly used in medicine industry, food industry, biological engineering and other applications that have hygienic requirements.Electromagnetic flow meters are also widely used now in some special applications to measure flow of corrosive medium like acid, alkali and salt or different kinds of serous fluids.

• Adopting of SMD device and SMT technology assures high circuit reliability.
• There are three totalizers displaying positive flow, reverse flow and net flow and there is an inner recorder for at most 16 times power failure time.
• RS485, RS232, HART and Modbus communication output.
