The S7376has successfully passed automotive thermal shock and thermal cycling evaluationsand has also proven itself in the field in a wide range of automotiveapplications. The S7376 features a convenient 1:1 by volume mix ratio thatmakes it very accommodating to meter mix and dispense applications. Another keyfeature of this system is that it offers a very fast room temperature gel timein a small mass making it an excellent system for applications requiring smallamounts of potting. The fast gel time also provides the advantage of rapidcycling of parts. The Shore A = 60-65 hardness range is also a valuable featurethat allows delicate components to expand and contract when exposed totemperature swings without causing physical stress that can create failures. Aswith all polyurethane chemistries, the S7376 requires safe handling precautionssuch as desiccant canisters in drum bungs and inert gas purging of openedcontainers with nitrogen or argon.
