The lightweight and easily portable unit provides a user-friendly interface and quick measurement results.
- Can perform gamma dose rate measurements from 17 to 1300keV using optional gamma energy filter (Mfr. No. 425068582)
- Another optional filter (alpha-rejection filter, Mfr. No. 425068581) allows discrimination between alpha and beta contamination in emergency response situations
- Feature rugged design with thick rubber protective cover
- Easily adapt to different tasks by virtue of user configuration, calibration, and selection of measuring units
- Menu-driven interface results in low training cost and immediate familiarity
Additional features include:
- Huge internal data memory for both scaler results and continuous data recording
- Bright backlit LCD display capable of showing plain text messages in multiple languages
- Versatile operation modes: scaler/timer (with present count and preset time for sample measurements), continuous ratemeter mode (for frisker operation), and dose rate mode
- Audible indication: single pulse or chirper mode proportional to count rate
- Earphone output for operation in loud environments
