The MR-J2 Junior servo amplifier is available with either pulse input or analog speed/torque control modes, and standard 13 digital inputs and five digital outputs. RS232 and RS422 serial communications interface is compatible with Mitsubishi's
MCOMM Windows®-based set-up software. Positioning control with multi-drop operation for up to 32 Axes is possible. The user also has the option of either screw-type or DIN-rail type installation.
Also new to the Mitsubishi line are new AC brushless servo motors that are small enough to fit in the palm of a hand. They are available in three motor sizes-- HC-AQ0135, HC-AQ0235, and HC-AQ0335. The HC-AQ0135 has rated output of 10W, a rated torque of 0.0318 N·m and a maximum torque of 0.0955 N·m. Its power rate at continuous rated torque is 2.0 kW/S. The HC-AQ0235 has a rated output of 20W, a rated torque of 0.0637 N·m and a maximum torque of 0.191 N·m. Its power rate at continuous rated torque is 5.6 kW/S. And the HC-AQ0335 has a rated output of 30W, a rated torque of 0.0955 N·m and a maximum torque of 0.287 N·m. The power rate at continuous rated torque for this motor type is 9.7 kW/S. Rated speed for these motors is 3,000 r/min. The HC-AQ0135 and HC-AQ0235 have a maximum speed of 5,000 r/min and the HC-AQ0335 has a maximum speed of 4,500. All motors are available with brakes. Weights range from 0.19 kg for the HC-AQ0135, 0.22 kg for the HC-AQ0235 and 0.22-kg for the HC-AQ0335. The length of the HC-AQ0135 is 54 mm, the HC-AQ0235 is 61 mm and the HC-AQ0335 is 68 mm.
