F Series Pneumatic Rack & Pinion Actuator
Suitable for a wide range of applications, the F-Series high-performance springs optimize its reliability. Because the F-Series design has reduced thrust bearing forces, its working life is extended. In addition, the F-Series offers maximum corrosion protection by using high-grade materials and advanced finishing techniques.
Dual Stroke Adjustment – standard in the F-Series actuators – enables users in the field or in the workshop to easily reconfigure and accommodate various application conditions.
F-Series actuators offer a wide temperature range. Standard actuators are specified for
-20°C to +80°C (-4°F to 176°F). Optional temperature versions are also available:
High temperature: -20°C to +120°C (-4°F to +248°F)
Low temperature: -40°C to +80°C (-40°F to +176°F)
The double-acting and spring-return F-Series actuators can be operated with a wide range of most common supply pressures::
Double acting: 2.9 to 120 psi (0.2 to 8.3 Barg)
Spring return: 43.5 to 120 psig (3 to 8.3 Barg)

Designed for the automation of ball, butterfly, non-lubricated plug valves, and quarter-turn rotating mechanisms.
Standards: ISO 5211 for the valve interface. VDI/VDE 3845 (NAMUR) for air connection interface (solenoid valve) and top mount interface (switch box or positioner). EN 15714 part 3 for working life and performance. ASTM B117 for corrosion protection.
Torque Range: Choice of 13 sizes with a torque output ranging from 119 to 39498 ldf.in (13.4 to 4449 Nm) allow sizing from small 1/2" ball valves up to large 30" butterfly valves or 12" ball valves.
