Asphalt Binder Analysis Furnace

Made to fit ASTM D 6307-98 for quantitative determination of Binder Content in hot-mix asphalt. Operates at dedicated temperature of 540ºC without any  over shoot. 

Furnace is capable of 600ºC. Any emissions during test is eliminated by means of special thermal After Burner placed on top of Furnace. A reverse suction system enhances removal of flammable fumes during operation thereby elimation at the thermal after burner. Furnace is totally under auto control of related software, including the operation and heat up of After Burner and lock up of furnace lid at 150ºC. All elements are protected against corrosion by a quartz tubing.

Sideways opening lid with a special locking system which operates at 150ºC.  Weight loss is recorded through a Load Cell application (integral balance) and all details, including the related report will be stored in the Lap Top Computer (in offer optionally) only waiting for the print out.  Also a Temperature vs weight loss curve will be available for printing. 

Aggregate Calibration factor can be introduced during reporting. History can also be created  to observe resent reports. No hand on time is required for the test, all will be handled with related programming  including the end report which is stored by a Lap Top (not included)  only waiting for printing. 

Furnace will be turned down at end of test automaticly as the standard requires. Sample weights upto 2500kgs can be applied (Total scale range is 10000 grs). Heat up rate to 540ºC is 35mins. History can also be created  to observe recent reports. Both English and German language can be selected for operation.
