Epoxidised Natural Rubber
(Grade Name: ENR25, ENR50)
Epoxyprenes are NATURAL RUBBER (cis 1,4-polyisoprene)with
epoxidised group randomly with 25% or 50%. (ENR 25 for 25%,
ENR 50 for 50%)

* The ENR is holding properties’ of Natural Rubber and then put some advantages as mentioned in addition.
* The mixing behavior and curing system are similar to Natural Rubber, in special; the mooney viscosity is broken down easier than Natural Rubber.

3. Application
ENR 25 and ENR50 are used in anti-vibration mountings, surrounds for audio speakers, machinery, road vehicles and railway coaches. High damping is also advantageous in shock absorption, eg footwear components such as heel inserts or mid sole components. Acoustic devices such as constrained layer damping components have been constructed to reduce noise emission from vibrating pannels in machinery or automotive vehicles. This is also being used as modifier for epoxy resin, which can put elastic property. Tire for mountain bike by the damping property as well as air impermeability and easy blend with NR is one of unique applications. The advanced properties shall be suitable for your new development.
