DEUTZ Oil TLX -10 W 40 FE (DQC III - 05 )
is a super high-performance SAE 10 W-40 engine oil made
from synthetic base oils.

DEUTZ Oil TLX -10 W 40 FE is used intensively in the de-
velopment and service life tests of supercharged DEUTZ
engines with closed-crankcase breathing systems.

Compared with conventional engine oils, TLX -10W40 FE
offers a significant reduction in fuel consumption, especially
with cold starts and at low temperatures.

The innovative formula reduces turbocharger deposits and
is thus ideal for engines with closed-crankcase breathing
systems. On this basis, the oil qualifies for DEUTZ Quality Class DQC III-05.

With its synthetic components, Deutz Oil TLX -10 W 40 FE
offers major benefits for engines with open-crankcase
breathing and is therefore particularly recommended for
all Tier 3 engines.

Notes concerning application

• Regardless of the total operating hours, DEUTZ engines
can be converted to TLX -10 W 40 FE without flushing.

• In order to achieve full performance, genuine DEUTZ
engine oils should not be mixed with other types of oil.

• Permissible oil service life data can be found in the
instruction manuals and in Technical Circular
TR 0199 - 99 - 3002, depending on the application.

• The admixture of commercially available additives to
genuine DEUTZ engine oils will impair the performance
of the oils and is not recommended by DEUTZ.

• To determine the suitability of DEUTZ engine oil
TLX -10 W 40 FE for engines made by other
manufacturers, please consult your DEUTZ dealer.
